The Taylorville Now, Then, Forever Facebook group has good stories to tell. A person posted a picture of Hell’s Half Acre Bridge and people responded. One person, Cheryl Craig, said, “…haunted by a lady that walks across it at midnight!” Another person, Jessica Adamson replied, “…we left going towards the elevators and there was a little girl in an old fashioned nightgown walking along the side of the road….The lantern she carried looked like oil or candle…NOt very bright……She had a bonnet on her head…..the only thing we saw the way she was walking was an old house that was falling in…”
