People have reported seeing shadowy figures on and around this abandoned bridge. They have also reported hearing the sounds of train whistles, screams, and a train stopping. People have also spotted someone jumping from the side of the bridge, but when they look down at the railroad, they see nothing. According to Illinois Haunted Houses, the bridge is now old and unsafe to cross.
