Chasing Shadows: Book signing

TAYLORVILLE — For those who enjoy reading about ghost, hauntings and true life encounters with the unexplained, local author and paranormal investigator Larry Wilson will be holding a book signing at Dana’s Book Exchange 109 W Main Cross in Taylorville, from 10 am -12 noon Saturday March 24, 2012.

Do UFOs, Bigfoot, and ghosts stalk the prairie? Wilson provides a surprising answer to this question in his new book Chasing Shadows, recently published by Black Oak Media.

In Chasing Shadows, you will get a firsthand look at some of the most haunted and mysterious places in the Midwest. Join Larry as he takes you on a journey into the unexplained at locations such as Illinois’ Williamsburg Hill, Springfield’s Legacy Theater, and Christian Counties mysterious “Graveyard X” at Missouri’s Rockcliffe Mansion, Morse Mill Hotel, and Kemper Military Academy; and at Iowa’s notorious Villisca Ax Murder House. Not only has Larry personally investigated these places, he has experienced their phantoms firsthand. You will find out how the Villisca Ax Murder House personally changed Larry’s approach to the supernatural, paranormal investigation, and life itself.

Paranormal investigation is an exciting field, but it should also be approached with caution, as Larry found out the hard way. His book serves as a reminder that unraveling the mysteries of the supernatural may have consequences for the unprepared, because one never knows what may be lurking around the next corner.

Larry Wilson is a former private investigator currently working for the Illinois State Board of Education. In his private life, Larry is a paranormal investigator and independent film maker based in central Illinois. He currently resides in Taylorville with his wife Kathy and son Cory.

No he is not a member of CCGHS. I have met him because I worked with his son at Game Stop back in 2007-2009. Just thought I would pass this event on to all of you and wonder what your takes are about the book.
